A hot bath sounds lovely, but I fear it's hard to get the house warm enough to enjoy stepping out of it...
As for my favorite winter indulgence, I'd have to say making hot chocolate–with milk, not water!–on the stovetop or else making bread...or both. Make the bread, turn it into some lovely tartines with a nice spread of butter, then enjoy it with the cocoa
The smell of newly baked bread is wonderful - and a spread of real butter is a lovely indulgence, with a drop of honey for me. I agree, there is nothing worse than a cold bathroom - I love the idea of a real fireplace in the bathroom!
Here in California it honestly doesn't get very cold (we're shivering at 49° overnight). I've learned to think take a rainy afternoon indoors. It's the break from winter gardening chores that makes it an indulgence. On sunny winter days, it's the afternoon gardening that makes it an indulgence. Perhaps I'm just like the cats and well-tuned to the perfect temperature.

We are cold in the UK at the moment, so I envy your balmy weather. Taking time to garden in the sunshine is a lovely indulgence.
